Siraj Anwar Mohammad Miran (B. 5th May 1978) commenced his primary and secondary education in his ometown, Nanded. For higher studies, he pursued graduation in the Faculty of Arts from Peoples’ College, Nanded. He successfully completed post-graduation in four major subjects—Urdu, English, History, and Education. In 2022, he achieved remarkable success in the UGC-SET competitive examination, conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune niversity, which qualifies candidates for the post of Assistant Professor.His academic interests have not remained confined to B.A. and M.A.studies; rather, he extended his intellectual pursuits to the field of Law, obtaining
an LL.B. degree from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.He is also an avid researcher. urturing this scholarly inclination, his doctoral research titled “The Role of Ulama in the Emergence and evelopment of Urdu Journalism” is currently under progress at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada
University, and is expected to be completed in the near future. Engaged in the noble profession of teaching since 2003, he continues to contribute significantly to the progress of students with dedication and excellence.In recognition of his distinguished services in education, the Government of Maharashtra conferred upon him the prestigious State Ideal Teacher Award in 2019. Siraj Anwar is not only a committed researcher and an inspiring teacher but also a devoted literary contributor. He began his formal literary journey as a writer in 2005, and many of his articles have since been published in Urdu newspapers. Through his pen, he has enriched Urdu literature, and several of his works have reached publication. Among his twelve noteworthy books are: Maulana Abul Kalam Azad: Life and Ideology Adabi Ufuq (The Literary Horizon) The Role of Jamia Millia in the Development of Urdu Language Dr. B. R. level, national and international seminars and conferences.
Among his works, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad: Life and Ideology holds
special significance. This book was published with financial assistance and special
support from the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), an
eminent institution under the Government of India.
