Al-Hijab

Al-Hijab monthly was launched from Bhopal under the patronage of Sultan Jahan Begum, the ruler of Bhopal, and edited by Muhammad Yusuf Qaiser Bhopali. The topics covered in this magazine included education, clothing, veiling, and other women's issues. It was launched in 1909, and according to Dr. Muhammad Nauman Khan, "Due to the readers' indifference and lack of attention, it fell victim to unfavorable circumstances and was permanently closed in September 1911."
