آخر یہ روز روز کی وحشت نکل گئی
اک دن ہمارے دل سے محبت نکل گئی
دنیا کے تام جھام میں الجھا تھا اس قدر
جو چار دن تھی جینے کی مہلت نکل گئی
بھرتے تھے زخم چھونے سے اہل وفا تھے جب
ہاتھوں سے ان کے اب یہ مہارت نکل گئی
سوز حیات میں بھی محبت کی اک گلی
احسان ہے جو تیری بدولت نکل گئی
