aañkh se ġham nihāñ nahīñ hote
phir bhī aañsū ravāñ nahīñ hote
umr bhar kā hai terā merā saath
is qadar bad-gumāñ nahīñ hote
ham-kalām un se haiñ tasavvur meñ
asl meñ ye samāñ nahīñ hote
yuuñ to kahne ko ham nahīñ maujūd
par ye socho kahāñ nahīñ hote
pyaar hotā hai yā nahīñ hotā
is meñ vahm-o-gumāñ nahīñ hote
aankh se gham nihan nahin hote

umr bhar ka hai tera mera sath

asl mein ye saman nahin hote
yun to kahne ko hum nahin maujud
