ab bhī usī tarah se ise intizār hai
ab bhī kisī ḳhayāl se dil be-qarār hai
aatī ḳhizāñ meñ bikhre haiñ murjhā.e chand phuul
ujḌā huā chaman hai ye jaatī bahār hai
yuuñ dil pe le liyā hai ki tan kā na hosh hai
aur tan pe jo qabā hai to vo tār-tār hai
aahaT ho koī us kī taraf dauḌe jaate haiñ
tāḳhīr ek pal kī bhī ab dil pe baar hai
dil ko jalā.e rakkhā hai ham ne charāġh sā
is ghar meñ ham haiñ aur tirā intizār hai
ab bhi usi tarah se ise intizar hai
ab bhi kisi KHayal se dil be-qarar hai
aati KHizan mein bikhre hain murjhae chand phul
ujDa hua chaman hai ye jati bahaar hai
yun dil pe le liya hai ki tan ka na hosh hai
aur tan pe jo qaba hai to wo tar-tar hai
aahaT ho koi us ki taraf dauDe jate hain
taKHir ek pal ki bhi ab dil pe bar hai
dil ko jalae rakkha hai hum ne charagh sa
is ghar mein hum hain aur tera intizar hai
