bandhna dil ko mere zulf-e-girah-gir ke sath
bāñdhnā dil ko mire zulf-e-girah-gīr ke saath
ḳhuub khelegā ye qaidī terī zanjīr ke saath
pahle vo aa.e to baad un ke adū ko dekhā
ḳhvāb aaya bhī to aaya mujhe ta.abīr ke saath
kisī bāñke ke banā.e hue abrū haiñ tere
ḳhuub Takrāyā hai shamshīr ko shamshīr ke saath
log kahte haiñ ki is dil meñ ḳhudā rahtā hai
kis liye chal diyā phir us but-e-be-pīr ke saath
aaj maiñ jā ke kahūñgā ye adū se 'asġhar'
apnī taqdīr badal le mirī taqdīr ke saath
bandhna dil ko mere zulf-e-girah-gir ke sath
KHub khelega ye qaidi teri zanjir ke sath
pahle wo aae to baad un ke adu ko dekha
KHwab aaya bhi to aaya mujhe tabir ke sath
kisi banke ke banae hue abru hain tere
KHub Takraya hai shamshir ko shamshir ke sath
log kahte hain ki is dil mein KHuda rahta hai
kis liye chal diya phir us but-e-be-pir ke sath
aaj main ja ke kahunga ye adu se 'asghar'
apni taqdir badal le meri taqdir ke sath
