begana-e-shuur-e-wafa ho gaya wo shaKHs
begāna-e-shu.ūr-e-vafā ho gayā vo shaḳhs
ye kyā huā ki mujh se ḳhafā ho gayā vo shaḳhs
jis se milī thī merī tamanna ko raushnī
ai tīrgī-e-baḳht ḳhafā ho gayā vo shaḳhs
utrā thā bū-e-gul kī tarah merī ruuh meñ
aisā gayā ki mauj-e-havā ho gayā vo shaḳhs
ham ne jise sahīfa-e-ulfat samajh liyā
be-mehrī-e-jahāñ kī adā ho gayā vo shaḳhs
allah re us kī yaad ke gajre hare raheñ
ujḌe hue diloñ kī davā ho gayā vo shaḳhs
sunte haiñ ek 'faiz' ġharīb-ud-dayār thā
haq maġhfirat kare ki qazā ho gayā vo shaḳhs
