chah thi mehr thi mohabbat thi
chaah thī mehr thī mohabbat thī
us kī har baat hī qayāmat thī
vasl thā qurb thā qarābat thī
dil ko phir bhī ajiib vahshat thī
ab to ham soch kar bhī hañste haiñ
avval-e-ishq kaisī hālat thī
maiñ bahut ḳhush rahā huuñ us ke baġhair
us ko is baat par bhī hairat thī
bas use chūmte hī chhoḌ diyā
pattharoñ se mujhe to vahshat thī
maiñ to kuchh in dinoñ pareshāñ thā
us ko kab bhūlne kī aadat thī
maiñ hī us vaqt tujh se bachhḌā thā
jab tirī chāhatoñ meñ shiddat thī
chah thi mehr thi mohabbat thi
us ki har baat hi qayamat thi
wasl tha qurb tha qarabat thi

ab to hum soch kar bhi hanste hain
awwal-e-ishq kaisi haalat thi
main bahut KHush raha hun us ke baghair
us ko is baat par bhi hairat thi
bas use chumte hi chhoD diya
pattharon se mujhe to wahshat thi
main to kuchh in dinon pareshan tha
us ko kab bhulne ki aadat thi
main hi us waqt tujh se bachhDa tha
jab teri chahaton mein shiddat thi
