chahchahati chand chiDiyon ka basar tha peD par
chahchahātī chand chiḌiyoñ kā basar thā peḌ par
mere ghar ik peḌ thā aur ek ghar thā peḌ par
mausam-e-gul tū ne sochā hai ki us kā kyā banā
tere lams-e-mehrbāñ kā jo asar thā peḌ par
ab havā ke haath meñ tū ik tamāshā ban gayā
zard sā pattā sahī maiñ mo'tabar thā peḌ par
is liye merā parindoñ se lagāv hai bahut
maiñ bhī to koī zamāna peshtar thā peḌ par
is dafa to fasl-e-gul ke saath aa.iiñ āñdhiyāñ
uḌ gayā sab jo mire ḳhvāboñ kā zar thā peḌ par
chahchahati chand chiDiyon ka basar tha peD par
mere ghar ek peD tha aur ek ghar tha peD par
mausam-e-gul tu ne socha hai ki us ka kya bana
tere lams-e-mehrban ka jo asar tha peD par
ab hawa ke hath mein tu ek tamasha ban gaya
zard sa patta sahi main mo'tabar tha peD par
is liye mera parindon se lagaw hai bahut
main bhi to koi zamana peshtar tha peD par
is dafa to fasl-e-gul ke sath aain aandhiyan
uD gaya sab jo mere KHwabon ka zar tha peD par
