de ke chubhte hue sawal hawa
de ke chubhte hue savāl havā
le ga.ī mere tiis saal havā
paañv dhartī se uTh rahe haiñ mire
ho sake to mujhe sambhāl havā
aur phūñkegā bastiyāñ kitnī
aag se terā ittisāl havā
tū ki jalte diye bujhātī hai
mere zaḳhmoñ kā indimāl havā
vo to kahiye ki terā jism nahīñ
tū bhī ho jaatī pā.emāl havā
lauh-e-marqad pe āb-e-zar se likho
ho ga.ī hai yahāñ niDhāl havā
har qadam dekh-bhāl kar 'anjum'
bun rahī hai anokhe jaal havā
de ke chubhte hue sawal hawa

panw dharti se uTh rahe hain mere
ho sake to mujhe sambhaal hawa

aag se tera ittisal hawa
tu ki jalte diye bujhati hai
mere zaKHmon ka indimal hawa
wo to kahiye ki tera jism nahin
tu bhi ho jati paemal hawa

ho gai hai yahan niDhaal hawa
