dekhiye to KHayal-e-KHam mera
dekhiye to ḳhayāl-e-ḳhām mirā
aap se aur burā.ī kaam mirā
kahīñ us bazm tak rasā.ī ho
phir koī dekhe ehtimām mirā
shab kī bātoñ par ab bigaḌte ho
aañkh uThā kar to lo salām mirā
naam ik but kā lab pe hai vaa.iz
hai yahī vird sub.h o shaam mirā
ġhair yuuñ nikleñ us kī mahfil se
jis tarah ai 'nizām' naam mirā
dekhiye to KHayal-e-KHam mera
aap se aur burai kaam mera
kahin us bazm tak rasai ho

shab ki baaton par ab bigaDte ho
aankh uTha kar to lo salam mera
nam ek but ka lab pe hai waiz
hai yahi wird subh o sham mera
ghair yun niklen us ki mahfil se
jis tarah ai 'nizam' nam mera
