dil ka sahra qatra qatra pyasa tha
dil kā sahrā qatra qatra pyāsā thā
mere us ke biich meñ dariyā bahtā thā
us kī zulfeñ āvāra rut sāvan kī
us kā chehra chait chāñd kā chehra thā
kitne hijr ke mausam aa.e biit ga.e
maiñ ki terī yaad meñ khoyā rahtā thā
raat ga.e jab chāñd hamāre ghar utrā
dīvāroñ pe us kī yaad kā saaya thā
āḳhir shahr ke hañgāmoñ meñ Duub gayā
sūraj tere hijr kā tere jaisā thā
man-bastī meñ mela ujḌe chehroñ kā
is mele meñ har chehra hī merā thā
kaun 'razī' in zard havāoñ se pūchhe
sabz rutoñ meñ merā sāthī kaisā thā
dil ka sahra qatra qatra pyasa tha
mere us ke bich mein dariya bahta tha
us ki zulfen aawara rut sawan ki
us ka chehra chait chand ka chehra tha
kitne hijr ke mausam aae bit gae
main ki teri yaad mein khoya rahta tha
raat gae jab chand hamare ghar utra
diwaron pe us ki yaad ka saya tha
aaKHir shahr ke hangamon mein Dub gaya
suraj tere hijr ka tere jaisa tha
man-basti mein mela ujDe chehron ka
is mele mein har chehra hi mera tha
kaun 'razi' in zard hawaon se puchhe
sabz ruton mein mera sathi kaisa tha
