dil-soḳhta ko apne jalāyā ġhazab kiyā
nairañg tum ne kyā ye dikhāyā ġhazab kiyā
zinda kiyā hai hasrat-e-murda ko bevafā
tū ba.ad-e-marg gor pe aayā ġhazab kiyā
ye dard-e-dard-mañd tamāshā dikhā.egā
āfat-rasīda ko jo satāyā ġhazab kiyā
ham ḳhānumāñ-ḳharāb bhaTakte kahāñ phireñ
baiThe biThā.e us ne uThāyā ġhazab kiyā
sab kah rahe the bulbul-e-kashmīr ke harīf
us gul ne apnā yaar banāyā ġhazab kiyā
majzūb-o-mast pīr-e-muġhāñ kyuuñ na vo rahe
'sāqī' ko jām-e-jazb pilāyā ġhazab kiyā
dil-soKHta ko apne jalaya ghazab kiya
nairang tum ne kya ye dikhaya ghazab kiya
zinda kiya hai hasrat-e-murda ko bewafa
tu baad-e-marg gor pe aaya ghazab kiya
ye dard-e-dard-mand tamasha dikhaega
aafat-rasida ko jo sataya ghazab kiya
hum KHanuman-KHarab bhaTakte kahan phiren
baiThe biThae us ne uThaya ghazab kiya
sab kah rahe the bulbul-e-kashmir ke harif
us gul ne apna yar banaya ghazab kiya
majzub-o-mast pir-e-mughan kyun na wo rahe
'saqi' ko jam-e-jazb pilaya ghazab kiya
