phir har-sū jal-thal dekhoge
har har zaḳhm-e-shajar se 'ḳhāvar'
phūTtī ik koñpal dekhoge
girte shish-mahal dekhoge

har saat har pal dekhoge

kis kis ka maqtal dekhoge
der hai pahli bund ki sari
phir har-su jal-thal dekhoge
