zamāne ko bhulā dene kī ḳhātir
tasavvur meñ tirā chehra bahut thā
hamāre saath 'sājid' nibh na paa.ī
magar vo dost to achchhā bahut thā

andhera hi andhera dur tak tha

zamane ko bhula dene ki KHatir

hamare sath 'sajid' nibh na pai
