havā-e-sub.h-e-numū dushman-e-chaman kaise
shikār-e-rashk-o-raqābat gul-o-saman kaise
hisār-e-shām-o-sahar aur zabt-e-ahl-e-nafas
nizām-e-jabr meñ bebas ye mard-o-zan kaise
na koī haath uThā aur na koī zer huā
to phir batāo ki ye chaak pairahan kaise
khule to kis pe khule rañg-e-e.atibār-e-suḳhan
ye sāhibān-e-nazar bad-gumān-e-fan kaise
