ḳhudāyā un gharoñ meñ raushnī hotī to achchhā thā
vo aa.e haiñ zarā un se ham apnā haal kah lete
hamāre dard-e-dil meñ kuchh kamī hotī to achchhā thā
ilahi dil ko mere kuchh KHushi hoti to achchha tha
labon par aah ke badle hansi hoti to achchha tha
siyah dil hain andheron mein tujhe hum yaad karte hain
KHudaya un gharon mein raushni hoti to achchha tha
wo aae hain zara un se hum apna haal kah lete
hamare dard-e-dil mein kuchh kami hoti to achchha tha
