insān ke libās meñ patthar ke log haiñ
ye sab mire ḳhayāl se bāhar ke log haiñ
in ko kisī ke dard kā ehsās hī nahīñ
patthar haiñ jin ke haath meñ patthar ke log haiñ
bāhar ke log hoñ to kareñ bhī muqābla
dushman hamāre apne hī andar ke log haiñ
ham log apnī pyaas liye ghūmte rahe
sairāb ho chuke jo samundar ke log haiñ
chal DhūñDte haiñ koī faqīroñ kā āshiyāñ
kyā is mahal meñ apne barābar ke log haiñ
insan ke libas mein patthar ke log hain

in ko kisi ke dard ka ehsas hi nahin
patthar hain jin ke hath mein patthar ke log hain
bahar ke log hon to karen bhi muqabla
dushman hamare apne hi andar ke log hain
hum log apni pyas liye ghumte rahe
sairab ho chuke jo samundar ke log hain
chal DhunDte hain koi faqiron ka aashiyan
kya is mahal mein apne barabar ke log hain
