jaan merī nikāl detī ho
pahle suntī ho ġhaur se bāteñ
phir salīqe se Taal detī ho
sab ḳhatā.eñ tumhārī apnī haiñ
phir bhī qismat pe Daal detī ho
jab bhī karnā ho faisla koī
ek sikka uchhāl detī ho
jān-e-'jāzib' tumhārā kyā hogā
dushmanoñ ko bhī Dhaal detī ho
