jo terī aañkh hai pur-nam yahī mohabbat hai
ki tujh ko hai jo mirā ġham yahī mohabbat hai
hazāroñ miil kī duurī ke bāvajūd ai dost
jo ham meñ rabt hai paiham yahī mohabbat hai
tirī judā.ī ke mausam meñ jān-e-jāñ mujh ko
jo bhuuk pyaas hai kam kam yahī mohabbat hai
tire baġhair jo ḳhvāboñ ke shahr meñ bhī dost
mirā mizāj hai barham yahī mohabbat hai
visāl-rut ho ki furqat hamāre dil meñ sanam
jo bekalī sī hai dam dam yahī mohabbat hai
mirā yaqīn ki yaum-e-alast meñ 'kāshif'
kiyā gayā hameñ bāham yahī mohabbat hai
