kirdār terā dost mire bā-vazū rahe
mushkil koī bhī chāhe tere rū-ba-rū rahe
bulbul hai terā naam tujhe dil se ye duā
har vaqt ye bahār tire chār-sū rahe
tā-umr mere yaar hoñ maqsad meñ kāmyāb
tā-umr mere zaḳhm pe hotī rafū rahe
kār-e-jahāñ meñ rahte hue ai mire ḳhudā
dil meñ mire to āThoñ pahar tū hī tū rahe
jis ke nasīb meñ ho tumhārī talab use
duuje kisī bhī shaḳhs kī kyā aarzū rahe

jis ke nasib mein ho tumhaari talab use
duje kisi bhi shaKHs ki kya aarzu rahe
