ġham ko bhī saath lagā lagā.ī hai
muntazir der se the tum mere
ab jo tashrīf sabā laa.ī hai
nig.hat-e-zulf ġhubār-e-rah-e-dost
āḳhir us kūche se kyā laa.ī hai
maut bhī ruuTh ga.ī thī mujh se
ye shab-e-hijr manā laa.ī hai
mujh ko le jā ke mirī aañkh vahāñ
ik tamāshā sā dikhā laa.ī hai
aah ko sū-e-asar bhejā thā
vaañ se kyā jāniye kyā laa.ī hai
'shiblī'-e-zār se kah de koī
muzhda-e-vasl sabā laa.ī hai
