gopī-chandar Duub gayā

dushman-e-īmāñ pesh-e-nazar
andar halchal bāhar chup
naqqālī par nāzāñ thā
shā.ir dekh ke bandar chup
raat meñ kyā kyā aish hue
tanhā maiñ thā bistar chup
halkī phulkī ek ġhazal
mahfil barham 'yāvar' chup
