malum agarche hai ki mausam ye kaDa hai
mālūm agarche hai ki mausam ye kaḌā hai
dil phir bhī gulāboñ ke liye zid pe aḌā hai
yaad aa.e haiñ phir log mujhe shahr-e-jafā ke
ik tīr-e-sitam yuuñ bhī mere dil meñ gaḌā hai
vo jis se ibādat kī tarah kī thī mohabbat
vo shaḳhs zamāne ke liye mujh se laḌā hai
mayyat ko mirī dekh ke bolā vo sitamgar
uTh jā.egā phir se ye adākār baḌā hai
jis moḌ pe badlī thī Dagar us ne 'mubārak'
kahnā ki usī moḌ pe dīvāna khaḌā hai
