مایوس خود بہ خود دل امیدوار ہے
مایوس خود بہ خود دل امیدوار ہے
اس گل میں بو خزاں کی ہے رنگ بہار ہے
طے ہو چکیں شکست تمنا کی منزلیں
اب اس کے بعد گریۂ بے اختیار ہے
اس بے وفا سے کر کے وفا مر مٹا رضاؔ
اک قصۂ طویل کا یہ اختصار ہے
