main rota hun aah-e-rasa band hai
maiñ rotā huuñ āh-e-rasā band hai
barastā hai paanī havā band hai
nahīñ murġh-e-jāñ jism-e-sad-chāk meñ
hamāre qafas meñ humā band hai
kahāñ qāfila tak rasā.ī mujhe
maiñ huuñ lañg shor-e-darā band hai
dil-e-vahshī apnā chhuTe kis tarah
ki zanjīr-e-gesū kā pāband hai
main rota hun aah-e-rasa band hai
barasta hai pani hawa band hai
nahin murgh-e-jaan jism-e-sad-chaak mein
hamare qafas mein huma band hai
kahan qafila tak rasai mujhe
main hun lang shor-e-dara band hai
