sach meñ pahlā vo pyaar achchhā thā
ab mile to kashish ne dam toḌā
is se to intizār achchhā thā
dost ban kar vo duur jā baiThā
dushmanoñ meñ shumār achchhā thā
yaad rahtī nahīñ thī ḳhud kī bhī
ishq kā vo ḳhumār achchhā thā
dil kī chāhat ne ḳhud-kushī kar lī
is se to be-qarār achchhā thā
