mirā rishta dil-e-nāshād se hai
parinde ko shaġhaf sayyād se hai
virāsat meñ nahīñ miltī kisī ko
bulandī kā safar buniyād se hai
unheñ insāf to kaise milegā
jinheñ matlab faqat imdād se hai
hameñ kyoñ aap se hogī shikāyat
hamārā mas.ala to yaad se hai
mirī bachchī kabhī ro.e nahīñ bas
yahī ik iltijā dāmād se hai

wirasat mein nahin milti kisi ko
