mujhe batāyā gayā thā yahāñ mohabbat hai
maiñ aa gayā huuñ dikhāo kahāñ mohabbat hai
yahāñ ke log bahut dushmanī nibāhte haiñ
isī se hotā hai sābit yahāñ mohabbat hai
kisī ke nāf-piyāle se muñh haTā lenā
savāl hī nahīñ uThtā miyāñ mohabbat hai
so rūh-o-jism kā rishta bahāl hai tab tak
hamāre biich ye jab tak ravāñ mohabbat hai
ye raaz mujh pe khulā hai tumhāre chhūne se
havas charāġh hai lekin dhuāñ mohabbat hai
