پلک میں اپنی پکڑ نہ پائی
قریب تھی سو نظر نہ آئی
جو چن لیا وہ نہیں تھا چاہا
جو چاہیئے تھا نہ تھی رسائی
کبھی نہیں تھی دوا پرانی
نئی نئی تھی کبھی شفائی
شجر گھنا ہو گیا ہے دل کا
طویل ڈالی کی کر چھنٹائی
