pas-e-ġhubār bhī uḌtā ġhubār apnā thā
tire bahāne hameñ intizār apnā thā
khaḌe the apnī jaḌoñ par kisī shajar kī tarah
hamārī ḳhātir-e-nāzuk pe baar apnā thā
isī liye hameñ sūraj ne saath rakkhā thā
ki ik sitāre pe dār-o-madār apnā thā
pas-e-ghubar bhi uDta ghubar apna tha
tere bahane hamein intizar apna tha

hamari KHatir-e-nazuk pe bar apna tha
isi liye hamein suraj ne sath rakkha tha
