ye bhī mumkin hai ki har baar samajhte hoñge
vo jo bhartā thā tirī yaad kī tasvīr meñ rang
log us shaḳhs ko be-kār samajhte hoñge
jo mirā dard baḌhāne ke liye aatā thā
shahr vaale use ġham-ḳhvār samajhte hoñge
itnā ḳhush ho ke koī mujh se milā kartā thā
dekhne vaale adākār samajhte hoñge
sab mujhe tera talab-gar samajhte honge

wo jo bharta tha teri yaad ki taswir mein rang
log us shaKHs ko be-kar samajhte honge
jo mera dard baDhane ke liye aata tha
shahr wale use gham-KHwar samajhte honge
itna KHush ho ke koi mujh se mila karta tha
dekhne wale adakar samajhte honge
