sahn-e-chaman meñ har-sū patthar
phuul to phuul hai ḳhushbū patthar
aaj ik ek kiran pathrā.ī
sūraj taare jugnū patthar
pathrā.e pathrā.e chehre
āñkheñ patthar aañsū patthar
merī jānib har jānib se
aa.e haiñ be-qābū patthar
rāh-e-vafā par chalnā mushkil
har-sū kāñTe har-sū patthar
ahl-e-jafā se haath milāte
ho ga.e mere baazū patthar
is māhaul meñ gar jiinā hai
'yazdānī' ho jā tū patthar
