tamkanat kā zavāl ho to sahī
māh-e-kāmil hilāl ho to sahī
rad hamārā savāl ho to sahī
ye kisī meñ majāl ho to sahī
ghar to kyā shahr chhoḌ saktā huuñ
pahle jiinā vabāl ho to sahī
jur.at-e-arz-e-hāl hai to magar
fursat-e-arz-e-hāl ho to sahī
ham bhī kuchh apnī raa.e pesh kareñ
guftugū-e-jamāl ho to sahī
ḳhushk ho kar bhī lab shagufta haiñ
tishnagī meñ kamāl ho to sahī
