tire qad the sarv taaza hai jam
uu chāyā hai yā nau-chaman meñ alam
tū hai chand taare haiñ lashkar tire
tuuñ hai shāh-ḳhūbāañ maiñ terā hasham
varaq sanā parnīñ likhyā tuj sā hor
azal ke musavvir kā hargiz qalam
sikandar kuuñ thī aarsī jam kuuñ jaam
tire hast hai darpan hor jām-jam
tire mukh ke phul-ban kuuñ dekh laaj the
chhupāyā hai mukh aapne kuuñ iram
tere qad the sarw taza hai jam
u chaya hai ya nau-chaman mein alam
tu hai chand tare hain lashkar tere
tun hai shah-KHubaan main tera hasham
waraq sana parnin likhya tuj sa hor
azal ke musawwir ka hargiz qalam
sikandar kun thi aarsi jam kun jam
tere hast hai darpan hor jam-jam
tere mukh ke phul-ban kun dekh laj the
chhupaya hai mukh aapne kun iram
