tū kisī phuul ko na ḳhaar ko dekh
aks-e-ā.īna-e-bahār ko dekh
sīna-e-sang meñ jo raah kare
ḳhāk-ālūd is sharār ko dekh
khol kar bādbān-e-kashtī-e-shauq
satvat-e-bahr-e-be-kanār ko dekh
dostoñ meñ talāsh kar ḳhud ko
aur phir apne e.atibār ko dekh
jis meñ tū kho gayā hai dīvāne
ilm-o-hikmat ke us dayār ko dekh
vādī-e-gul se be-niyāz guzar
dasht-o-sahrā ke intizār ko dekh
tu kisi phul ko na KHar ko dekh
aks-e-aina-e-bahaar ko dekh
sina-e-sang mein jo rah kare
KHak-alud is sharar ko dekh
khol kar baadban-e-kashti-e-shauq
satwat-e-bahr-e-be-kanar ko dekh
doston mein talash kar KHud ko
aur phir apne eatibar ko dekh
jis mein tu kho gaya hai diwane
ilm-o-hikmat ke us dayar ko dekh
wadi-e-gul se be-niyaz guzar
dasht-o-sahra ke intizar ko dekh
