us ne mā.il-ba-karam ho ke bulāyā hai mujhe
aaj phir dil ne ye afsāna sunāyā hai mujhe
sard-mehrī pe bhī hotā hai tavajjoh kā gumāñ
is tarah us ne tavaqqo.a pe lagāyā hai mujhe
yuuñ to fitrat meñ bhī āshufta-mizājī thī mirī
asl meñ aap ne dīvāna banāyā hai mujhe
parda-dārī thī use rabt-e-nihāñ kī manzūr
bazm meñ apnī bahut duur biThāyā hai mujhe
ye mire zo.am-e-bulandī kī sazā hai shāyad
us ne kuchh soch ke nazroñ se girāyā hai mujhe

ye mere zoam-e-bulandi ki saza hai shayad
