wahi sail wahi masul wahi hajat-mand
vahī saa.il vahī mas.ūl vahī hājat-mand
gar ho maqrūn-e-ijābat to savāl achchhā hai
hai tirī ḳhū-e-karam talḳh-navā.ī kā ilaaj
evaz-e-sañg samar de vo nihāl achchhā hai
jumā-e-āḳhir-e-māh-e-ramzān hai afzal
yuuñ to jis vaqt meñ ho bazl-o-navāl achchhā hai
ho ga.ī maḳhmasa-e-qaht-o-girānī meñ kamī
shukr hai sāl-e-guzishta se ye saal achchhā hai

hai teri KHu-e-karam talKH-nawai ka ilaj
ewaz-e-sang samar de wo nihaal achchha hai
juma-e-aKHir-e-mah-e-ramzan hai afzal
yun to jis waqt mein ho bazl-o-nawal achchha hai
ho gai maKHmasa-e-qaht-o-girani mein kami
shukr hai sal-e-guzishta se ye sal achchha hai
