ye shafaq sham ho rahi hai ab
ye shafaq shaam ho rahī hai ab
aur har gaam ho rahī hai ab
jis tabāhī se log bachte the
vo sar-e-ām ho rahī hai ab
azmat-e-mulk is siyāsat ke
haath nīlām ho rahī hai ab
shab ġhanīmat thī log kahte haiñ
sub.h badnām ho rahī hai ab
jo kiran thī kisī darīche kī
markaz-e-bām ho rahī hai ab
tishna-lab terī phusphusāhaT bhī
ek paiġhām ho rahī hai ab
