zaḳhm koī phuul jaisā khil gayā to kyā kahūñ
haath titlī kā agar phir chhil gayā to kyā kahūñ
shaḳhs koī yaad aatā hai mujhe ik umr se
sochtā huuñ gar kabhī vo mil gayā to kyā kahūñ
der se Thahrā huā thā taash ke mīnār sā
ek pattā phir achānak hil gayā to kyā kahūñ
baat dil kī aaj us se bolne kā dil kiyā
chup rahā ye soch kar ḳhud dil gayā to kyā kahūñ
haañ shikāyat thī mujhe par kuchh nahīñ maiñ ne kahā
hoñT koī jab nazar se sil gayā to kyā kahūñ

chup raha ye soch kar KHud dil gaya to kya kahun
han shikayat thi mujhe par kuchh nahin main ne kaha
honT koi jab nazar se sil gaya to kya kahun
