zulf ko tha KHayal bose ka
zulf ko thā ḳhayāl bose kā
ḳhat ne likkhā savāl bose kā
dohre pattoñ ke zer-e-sāya huā
sab qalam-band haal bose kā
chashmak-e-ḳhāl-e-ruḳh ne saaf kahā
hai tabassum ma.aal bose kā
sabza-e-nau-damīda ne maarā
gird-e-ruḳhsār jaal bose kā
rah gayā tere mukhḌe par baaqī
ab makāñ ḳhaal ḳhaal bose kā
ho ġhazab apne baal noch liye
hai ye saarā vabāl bose kā
tere ġhusse se ab koī 'inshā'
chhoḌtā hai ḳhayāl bose kā
