māh-e-siyām aa.e to muftī-e-shahr se
kuchh fā.eda nahīñ miyāñ guft-o-shunīd kā
sab maan leñ ye baat ki untīs kī raat ko
bārah baje nikaltā hai ab chāñd 'iid kā
mah-e-siyam aae to mufti-e-shahr se
kuchh faeda nahin miyan guft-o-shunid ka
sab man len ye baat ki untis ki raat ko
barah baje nikalta hai ab chand 'id ka
