Freedom fighter, member of the Constituent Assembly which drafted the Indian Constitution. He gave the slogan "Inquilab Zindabad" during the freedom movement. He was a devotee of Shri Krishna. He wrote the famous ghazal "Chupke Chupke Raat Din".
