fasl pak aa.ī hai gehūñ kī
ġhunche muskurā.e haiñ
kuchh miTTī ke gamloñ meñ
to kuchh dhartī kī bāhoñ meñ
ik ik haath ug aayā hai
chaTnī ke liye dhaniyā
podīne kī bhī koñpal
thoḌī thoḌī phuuT aa.ī haiñ
magar ik biij tum ne
dil kī dhartī par jo boyā thā
vo ab bhī muntazir hai
tumhārā khaad paanī chāhtā hai
fasl pak aai hai gehun ki

to kuchh dharti ki bahon mein
ek ek hath ug aaya hai
chaTni ke liye dhaniya
podine ki bhi konpal
thoDi thoDi phuT aai hain
magar ek bij tum ne
dil ki dharti par jo boya tha
wo ab bhi muntazir hai
tumhaara khad pani chahta hai
