    apnī himmat se insāñ ne maarā vo maidān

    miTTī bolī mere dil niklā aaj armān

    chāñd pe pahuñchā insān

    rocket ek uḌā dhartī se aur havā meñ pahuñchā

    us ko havā se kyā lenā thā duur fazā meñ pahuñchā

    us se bhī kuchh aage niklā aur ḳhalā meñ pahuñchā

    himmat maiñ tujh par qurbān

    chāñd pe pahuñchā insān

    jo bhī mushkil raah meñ aa.ī pal meñ thī āsān

    ab mirrīḳh bhī duur nahīñ hai chāñd pe jaane vaale

    terī himmat par nāzāñ haiñ aaj zamāne vaale

    duur zamīñ se sayyāroñ khoj lagāne vaale

    ilm-o-hunar ek na.ī tārīḳh banāne vaale

    terā kaam hai ālī-shān

    himmat maiñ tujh par qurbān

    chāñd pe pahuñchā insān

    jo bhī mushkil raah meñ aa.ī pal meñ thī āsān

    jo bhi mushkil rah mein aai pal mein thi aasan

    apni himmat se insan ne mara wo maidan

    miTTi boli mere dil ka nikla aaj arman

    chand pe ja pahuncha insan

    rocket ek uDa dharti se aur hawa mein pahuncha

    us ko hawa se kya lena tha dur faza mein pahuncha

    us se bhi kuchh aage nikla aur KHala mein pahuncha

    himmat main tujh par qurban

    chand pe ja pahuncha insan

    jo bhi mushkil rah mein aai pal mein thi aasan

    ab mirriKH bhi dur nahin hai chand pe jaane wale

    teri himmat par nazan hain aaj zamane wale

    dur zamin se sayyaron ka khoj lagane wale

    ilm-o-hunar ki ek nai tariKH banane wale

    tera kaam hai aali-shan

    himmat main tujh par qurban

    chand pe ja pahuncha insan

    jo bhi mushkil rah mein aai pal mein thi aasan
