shab-e-nashāt ke pyāroñ ko chhoḌ aayā huuñ
maiñ kitne chāñd sitāroñ ko chhoḌ aayā huuñ
ye chāñdnī pe ghaTā.eñ ye nīlgūñ dariyā
maiñ aise kitne nazāroñ ko chhoḌ aayā huuñ
tasavvurāt kī duniyā hasīn thī jin se
maiñ un hasīn dayāroñ ko chhoḌ aayā huuñ
koī batā.e mujhe ab jiyūñ to kaise jiyūñ
maiñ zindagī ke sahāroñ ko chhoḌ aayā huuñ
hai apnī pasti-e-himmat kā e'tirāf mujhe
ḳhizāñ kī zad pe bahāroñ ko chhoḌ aayā huuñ
shab-e-nashat ke pyaron ko chhoD aaya hun
main kitne chand sitaron ko chhoD aaya hun
ye chandni pe ghaTaen ye nilgun dariya
main aise kitne nazaron ko chhoD aaya hun
tasawwuraat ki duniya hasin thi jin se
main un hasin dayaron ko chhoD aaya hun
koi batae mujhe ab jiyun to kaise jiyun
main zindagi ke sahaaron ko chhoD aaya hun
hai apni pasti-e-himmat ka e'tiraf mujhe
KHizan ki zad pe bahaaron ko chhoD aaya hun
