ek khilaune ki tarah
ik khilaune kī tarah
chāhatoñ kī beḌī ke zor par
rote baabā logoñ ko
manāyā thā hañsāyā thā
kal vo jin ko ham ne apne pairoñ se chalāyā thā
hāthoñ se uThāyā thā
āñkhoñ se dikhāyā thā
aaj un kī uñgliyāñ pakaḌ ke chal rahe haiñ ham
ek khilaune ki tarah
chahaton ki beDi ke zor par
rote baba logon ko
manaya tha hansaya tha
kal wo jin ko hum ne apne pairon se chalaya tha
hathon se uThaya tha
aankhon se dikhaya tha
aaj un ki ungliyan pakaD ke chal rahe hain hum
