raat amāvas kī thī maiñ ne
nāg-phanī ke ik kāñTe par
ek pal ke sauveñ hisse tak
sūraj ko raushan dekhā thā
phail gayā merī āñkhoñ meñ
sau rātoñ kā ghor añdherā
aur mujhe mahsūs huā yuuñ
ghor añdhere ke siine meñ
maiñ bijlī kā ik kauñdā huuñ
raat amawas ki thi main ne
nag-phani ke ek kanTe par
ek pal ke sauwen hisse tak
suraj ko raushan dekha tha
phail gaya meri aankhon mein
sau raaton ka ghor andhera
aur mujhe mahsus hua yun
ghor andhere ke sine mein
main bijli ka ek kaunda hun
