duur ufuq ke paar kahīñ chhup jaatā hai
aur chāñd sitāre
āvāra bādal ke TukḌoñ ke hamrāh
jab āñkh-micholī khelte haiñ
tab dil ke ghor añdheroñ meñ
kahīñ duur kisī gahrā.ī meñ
tirī yādoñ ke nanhe jugnū
mire dil ke is añdhiyāre ko
ujlāne kī koshish karte haiñ
jab suraj apni kirnon ki

aawara baadal ke TukDon ke hamrah
jab aankh-micholi khelte hain
tab dil ke ghor andheron mein
kahin dur kisi gahrai mein
teri yaadon ke nanhe jugnu
