vādī-e-kashmīr hai yā chashma-e-qudrat hai ye
goshe goshe meñ jo bikhrī be-bahā daulat hai ye
jangaloñ ke biich meñ āb-e-ravāñ kausar-sifat
ai ḳhudā kyā is zamīñ par dūsrī jannat hai ye
barf kī dastār bāñdhe saf-ba-saf parbat yahāñ
karte haiñ hamd-o-sanā allāh kī qudrat hai ye
ḳhushnumā phūloñ meñ bhī rangoñ kā ik sailāb hai
chār-sū dilkash fazā.eñ is kī bas fitrat hai ye
ye hamārī zindagī hai ham haiñ is ke pāsbāñ
muḳhtasar itnā samajhiye mulk kī izzat hai ye
wadi-e-kashmir hai ya chashma-e-qudrat hai ye

jangalon ke bich mein aab-e-rawan kausar-sifat
ai KHuda kya is zamin par dusri jannat hai ye
barf ki dastar bandhe saf-ba-saf parbat yahan
karte hain hamd-o-sana allah ki qudrat hai ye
KHushnuma phulon mein bhi rangon ka ek sailab hai
chaar-su dilkash fazaen is ki bas fitrat hai ye
ye hamari zindagi hai hum hain is ke pasban
muKHtasar itna samajhiye mulk ki izzat hai ye
